obviously, i didn't go to san antonio afterall. i don't think i ever really wanted to go in the first place. it kind of felt like an obligation. soo yes, i'm still here in the valley. on tuesday or wednesday i want to go to the beach. lol yes, i know, i've been saying that i'm not going. i'm not going for the parties and all that stupid shit. i'm going for the beach. i feel like swimming and tanning and such :]. maritza and the girls are planning on going to the beach on wednesday so i'll get to hang out with them.

if anyone is down or is coming down and wants to hang out, give me a call :].

i'm watching a night at the roxbury right now. it still cracks me up :].

saturday morning i'll be on my way to san antonio. i'll be back on tuesday. my mom was wanting to take my grandma and go with me, but i don't want her to and neither does my brother lol. this is only because i'm going to stay in the extra room my brother has in his apartment and i don't know where they would plan on sleeping. however, yesterday my mom didn't even realize that it was this weekend i was leaving. soo i don't know what's going on yet. i kind of want to go by myself though :/.. or maybe with jess. i called her and i left a voicemail and i'm hoping she'll call me back. this was 4 hours ago, but she'll call back eventually ;].

i'm doing all this precal homework i have due tomorrow and it sucks.

one of the main reasons why i'm not going to south padre island for spring break: last year, 2200 tickets were issued at south padre for DWI, PI, DUI, MIP, etc. so after i get back from san antonio, i'll probably just be hanging out in the valley. if anyone else will be doing the same, give me a call ;].

i don't have anything else to update about.. soo.. yeahh..

i took my political science test this morning. i'm not sure how i did. i can't say i got an A, but i can't say i passed either. it's really up in the air. hopefully i did well.

i went and worked out at the gym today. i'll be going probably every day because i really want to get rid of all this excess fat i have. i've noticed my belly is really gross, and people have told me it. maybe not bluntly like that, but i think someone asking you if you were pregnant and if you had a beer belly would suggest that you're stomach is fat. i'm not doing this because of them, however, i'm doing it for me.

i hung out with jon yesterday. it was sooo great seeing him. i missed him a lot. i've also been missing john paul so much lately. he'll be back in may and it seems like so far away.. lol that rhymed..

today i took my precal test. i went to school early this morning and i have a hour break before my precal class, so i had a lot of time to study. i didn't really understand it much before today, but when i was at the library by myself it somehow clicked. i think did well on the test. i'm not going to say i got an A, but i didn't fail either. i'm thinking it'll be a high B. i'll know on wednesday.

my bone grafting, so far, is a success. i went to see dr. perez (my oral surgeon) on thursday and they took an x-ray. they found that the bone is growing onto my jaw so that's good news. i went to dr. gerling today (my orthodontist) and the right side of my bottom teeth moved the 2 mm it needed to, which is also good news. overall, i'll be able to get implants :]. i don't know when though.. i see dr. perez next month so yeah..

today esteban and i went to barnes & noble and i bought two cds: the wreckers and jason aldean. i also got a caramel frappuccino :]. i wanted to see if they had any cesar milan books (yes, the dog whisperer. he's cooler than you ;P) but i saw dr. whitehouse and hid lol. i didn't really feel like talking to her haha.

i have decided that i want to get a masters in american literature. people ask me if i would get a PhD and i'm not sure. i'll cross that bridge when i get there :].

john paul left for wyoming this morning. i know i mentioned it in a previous post, but if you forgot, he is going there for this camping thing for 3 months. he won't be back till may. i already miss him :/.

i'm just going to give a quick update before i go to bed. i'm waiting for my jeans to get out of the wash :].

to solve my parking problem, i have now been parking behind the roadrunner stadium and taking a shuttle bus to campus. i couldn't believe how many parking spaces were available and how convenient it was! i don't know why i didn't do it sooner. i don't have to walk so far and i'm being chauffered around. it's nice :] lol.

esteban and i's 2 year anniversary just so happens to be on valentine's day. the only thing i know we're doing is eating at lansky & brats. esteban is going to do the other thing he planned on the weekend. all i know from that is that it is going to involve us getting soaked. i don't know what thats about! lol i'm excited though.

i know it's early, but i'm already planning on going to san antonio for a few days during spring break. i don't want to go to the beach because it's the same old stuff, plus it's super packed. i'm just going to go to san antonio for a few days and come back home and hang out with my friends.

intro to literature essay due on monday, a precal and chemistry test sometime next week, lots of homework for precal... i'll be busy this weekend.

i don't think we're going to go to lake travis for spring break. actually, i'm sure of it. a lot of people are falling through and we only have like 4 people including myself and esteban.. soo we're just going to cancel the whole thing.

i bought my books today. my political science professor, dr. bokina, is requiring 4 freakin' books for the class. i was kind of pissy about it until today when i went to go buy them. the most expensive one was only like $65 and the cheapest one was around $32 so it wasn't that bad. i had to go to 2 different bookstores to find my literature and precalculus books, but i got them :]. i also bought a UTPA sweatshirt and sweatpants. i figured while i'm here at UTPA, i might as well have a little something from it :]. also, i sold 2 of the 4 books i had from last semester and received a total of $67.

jessica and luis got their apartment. they invited esteban and i over tomorrow to hang out and stuff. it's better than being outside in the cold and drizzle at tommy's :X.

i've had a headache all day. it sucks :(

today was the first day of school. the only class i had today was political science. my professor is bokina and he's pretty cool. he's funny too. tomorrow i have chemistry at 10:45, precal at 12:45, and intro to literature at 1:45. geeez it is so cold here! it's like 38 degrees and windy :[ ! we have a freeze warning, but honestly i don't think it'll happen lol. it's been cold in the valley like every day since december and i don't like it anymore. i want the heat back! i can't wait for march because that'll be around the time it gets warm again :].

this weekend i think john paul wanted to take esteban and i to watch bull riding in mercedes. i hope we go because that would be a lot of fun :]. i've decided that i want to join a sorority. i wanted to when i left the valley, but i thought to myself, "hey. why am i waiting? why don't i just do it now?" buuut i thought about it a little more and i'd rather focus on school right now so i can actually get accepted to UT lol. i really hope i go to UT. i love austin. it's the best city in the world.. or at least in the U.S. :].

i just got home from working out right now. esteban and i both hope to get at least halfway to how we want our bodies to look by spring break (march 10-17).

i only got 4 hours of sleep last night, so i'm going to take a little nap. g'night ;]

it is the wee hours of the morning and i'm still awake. i'm very tired though because i had to wake up early today (technically yesterday.. whatever). i'm going to go to bed once i'm done posting.

esteban leaves for austin/bastrop in like 5 hours. he's coming back friday which is good :]. later today i plan on doing my laundry. i always procrastinate so much on doing it.. and with esteban gone, i won't have anything else to do lol. after that i'm not sure what i'll be doing. hang out at home.. with friends.. who knows. speaking of friends, john paul is leaving for wyoming on a leadership camping thing next month. to be specific, on valentine's day. he'll be gone for 3 months. i'm going to miss him a lot. he's become a good friend of mine these past few months. if i don't see him for a week, i miss him. imagine what it'll be like for 3 months lol. time will fly by fast, i hope.

school starts on tuesday. oh and i'm soo thrilled about that (sarcasm). i'm going to have to wake up early this semester: 8 AM. it's horrific! my earliest class 10:45 MWF and 10:35 thursdays, but i have to leave my house an hour early just to get to school and find a parking space. pluss i need some time in the morning to get ready. yeah, it will suck.

i've been feeling like going to the beach, but it's just too cold :(.

i finally bought the sims a couple of days ago. it's soo addicting. i love it though :]. i bought the complete collection, so it has the original one, house party, hot date, vacation, pets, makin' magic (lol that sounds all sexual), and superstar. i know what you're thinking.. "she is such a dork." well, that's true :]. no denying that.

yesterday i didn't really do a lot. i went to johnny carino's with eric. it was fun :]. then i went to go get my bangs trimmed. it only took like 2 seconds. then i went home and played the sims. then i went to esteban's house. we just watched tv and i watched him play call of duty 3. i don't mind watching him play video games, except for the football ones because those are kind of boring. i like watching the shooting ones, like call of duty 3 or gears of war. i get all into it :X lol.

today i'm not sure what i'm going to do. i'm going to jump in the shower and once i'm done and ready i'm going to call esteban. i'll probably go over to his house and then we'll go out to a party or something. if anyone wants to party with me tonight, give me a call ;]. kk well i need to go in the shower now.. :]

today i'm going to go drop off some presents to my friends and go to esteban's house. him and i are going to go to best buy. his xbox broke on him and he has a warranty so he is going to get a new one. i've been wanting to play the sims for a while, so i wanted to use the $300 to buy the computer game lol. i'm a dork :/. after that i'm not sure what i'm doing but i'll probably just hang out at esteban's house. i want to go out tonight, but i'm not sure if i can drink yet (cause of my surgery). it's kind of in the air. but i don't want to go out just to drink, i also want to see my friends. i would ask my dad if i could but c'mon i can't ask my dad if i can drink lol. soo i'm not sure what to do. i'm going to try looking online or something. k well i'm out. i need to go finish getting ready. peace ♥

Merry Christmas!

i finished my christmas shopping today. it feels good :]. i've already finished wrapping too. esteban is supposed to come over later tonight. i want to go out, but i'm still swollen :/. tomorrow we're supposed to go to my grandma's and help her bake cookies. i'm going to bake mine too. i'm giving them out as christmas presents :]. on sunday i'm going over to my aunt nora's for our annual christmas eve get-together thing lol. and then monday is christmas! i'm excited! not only am i excited because it's christmas, but also because my stitches should be dissolved by then and i can eat solid food :].

i know it's a bit early, but if anyone knows of any new year's eve parties you gotta hit me up! jk but do tell me about it. i want to party my ass off this year and get all kinds of drunk lol. i also want to top esteban and i's new year kiss from last year hahaa. my parents are throwing this holiday party next saturday here at the house. i don't really want to stay, but i guess i will for a couple of hours and then head off lol. as long as it isn't on new year's and i would be stuck at my house not being able to drink cause my parents are here, i'm good :].

i got my oral surgery on monday. i had three wisdom teeth pulled out and some bone grafting done on my lower jaw. i have all these stitches in my mouth and it isn't comfortable :/. they should dissolve by christmas. surprisingly, i haven't been needing to take any pain medicine. orthodontry work hurts way more in my opinion. plus they don't really hurt, my jaw is just sore. i'm also a bit swollen. i look like a chipmunk lol. to my friends that are down for christmas: i won't be able to hang out till probably after christmas because my jaw is just too sore and i don't feel like going out; but, i will call or text when i'm up for hanging out :].

i'm soo surprised my TA gave me a C in my lab. when i went to go see him about my grade, he told me i got a D.. but i guess he changed it. i'm not complaining though lol. i would've got an A in spanish, but the last test was hard and i think that's what gave me a B. i'm proud of my GPA. if i keep it up, i'll be able to go to UT in the fall :].
